Devil's Erdvocate
And no, I'm not referring to my inner Jiminy Cricket.
Sometimes I get confused between what's more important: the world knowing the real me, or me knowing myself. It's hard to ignore the grey area when your whole life's grey. And then you ask yourself questions you never have answers to, which only serves to spread the greyness of it all.
This space isn't titled emo nemo fur nothin', punkass pinkertons. If anyone has any words of comfort/wisdom to offer this disturbed panther, you're welcome to speak your piece. My family's going to Sydney in a couple of weeks and I'm really nervous about not getting to come with. I just want to add more pictures to my globe-trotting display collection.
I come across as such a show-off sometimes, but all I'm really showing off is my contentment.

The E.N.D. (ernie never dies)
Life can be so cruel, and yet the pain we go through empowers us that much more and reassures us that we can endure just about anything. I've never vicariously experienced this much heartache before, and already I'm overwhelmed by the harsh reality of what love (or lack thereof) can do to you. The past week saw the ernnihilation of little hearts all across the island. It sucks that I can't relate because I've never really dated anyone, let alone been in a serious long-term relationship. And because of that, it makes it that much harder to do a good job at comforting my friends because all I can do is cheer them up with my retardedness and feed them borrowed cookies from Cooks.
As much as I comprehend the necessity for complications in certain areas of people's lives, I can't say there aren't times I wish things could just be simple. Watching over everyone and the world going by only makes me realize that things are never what they seem. You ask yourselves questions all the time - Is he/she the one? Why this, Why that. How'd things get like this? Am I making a mistake? - and at the end of the day, you wish the voices could just silence themselves so that the only thing audible is your heartbeat.
Perhaps the world would be a better place if there was no such thing as a unique human identity. We could genetically modify ourselves to be free of emotions related to affairs of the heart, even if it makes us that much less human. Why feel pain when we don't have to? At first, I thought it'd be such a shame if everyone possessed the same feelings and never knew what it meant to feel hurt or sadness. Then on second thought, those emotions seem dispensable, don't you think?
Maybe that's just my thoughts for tonight. Panthers are prone to being fickle, and I'm no exception. I want to be the next Karl Lagerfeld so I can save the world with my dope fashion sense and creative streak that's totally off the hook.
Time for this pinkerton to hit the sack. Peas!

Ertrocities of Extravagant Youth
Traveling is one of my greatest loves, and I'm lucky enough to be good friends with someone who so willingly brings me along wherever she goes. I've had the privilege of touring quaint Japanese towns, exploring Europe, experiencing both winter and summer in the land Down Under, had an authentic Thai massage in Bangkok, and traveled to many other places. It just so happens that traveling means incurring significant costs and the risk of overspending while in full holiday mode.
And then theres photography. I would love to sign up for proper photography classes with the Lomographic Society but the rates of the courses are pretty steep for a jobless panther and I can't even begin to imagine how I can raise that kinda money with the minimal skills that I have. Perhaps I could steal some of Mo's over-priced and under-utilised tops and sell them for half their original prices? I don't know man. Ever since Mo bought her Holga and abandoned it temporarily, I've been lugging it around and capturing priceless scenes and moments. It was only after that experience did I realize just how expensive the film I used was, and developing the pictures didn't cost any less! That's what you get for being trigger-happy.
Anyway, since we're on the topic of photography, I've just been invited to join Mo and her koolkat pals while they check out the Singapore Biennale (shout out to Vic: Marry me!). They're planning to cover all the various venues this Thursday, and since my schedule's wide open on Thurs, I suppose I'll tag along and take in the sheer beauty of photo exhibitions. For more info, paw this link: http://www.singaporebiennale.org/ . I've decided to include the venue map below so you cyberstalkers know where to find my furry tush come Thursday!

I'm so eggcited. Lerve is in the air and I'm psyched about all the plans I have lined up for the week. Included a pic of myself in the loving arms of Mo because it so accurately depicts the mood I'm in right now - lerved and totally chilled out.
In other news, I'm in need of a bath - V suggests that I be sent to the drycleaners since Mo is too much of a scaredy cat to put me in her washing machine and do the deed herself. C'mon guys, I can swim okay? No biggie. Gimme an oxygen tank and I guarantee you won't be fishing my dead body out of the washing machine. And I've been working out, can't you tell? Its not like I'm gonna disintegrate or anything ... Bish, plz.
Ok, this little pinky is going to bed because tomorrow brings macaroon mania and a trip to the gym. And you wonder why I'm in the pink of health!
Pinkerton OUT!
I Hate You ErLot
It's OK, we're getting there a day at a time. Makes it all that much easier. Having said all that, I now feel so much more at peace with everything, and everyone.

Ermazing
Ok, so nothing much's been happening. I've been waiting patiently in anticipation of the Oompa Loompazaar - some bazaar at Smoo that's gonna be taking place this week. Kinda fuzzy on the details like the actual duration of the bazaar and the kind of events that're gonna be taking place but I've received some recommendations on which stalls to pop by. Buzz me if you want in on the good digs - gotta be discreet with these things because only the selfish stay stylish! Hahahaha OK I know being pink in colour does not award me entitlement to random bimbotic behaviour and lingo. But I can't help it!
Tonight I'm paying another visit (one of many this week) to my good friend living far far away because he needs moral support. It appears his life is one giant regurgitated spitball because his all-time closest companions (thought I was one of them, guess not) have depleted miserably since the recent departure of his good friend who's left for Sydney for further studies. It just seems like whenever people feel lonely and desolate, they turn to me for help. The stench rising from my 15 years of unwashed fur seems to give off some kind of unexplainable comforting aura.
Its ermazing how I find time for these pointless visits when I'm busy as a bee. But like I always say, a friend in need, is a friend indeed (a friend with weed is better).
Alright, time to satisfy my munchies.
Later 'gators.
